CHAMPIONSHIP GOLF IN THE CENTER OF HANOI

Built on a decommissioned airforce base close to the centre of Hanoi, Longbien Gia lam makes the most of its limited space and lack of site features. Concrete debris from the runway is disposed of underneath the radically reworked landscape. The lakes sit low relative to the surrounds, so a system of dykes and lift pumps have been installed to take care of excess rainwater during wet season.

The course operates as a public golf course - one of the few in Asia and has an enormous clubhouse where weddings and conventions take place.
