Sited on the only true links-land between Australia and the continental United States, the Dunes at Maui Lani winds through and over massive sand dunes forested in Hawaiian kiawe trees. The course is fashioned in the Irish links style with partial blind shots, huge elevation changes and tight undulating greens. The constant trade winds common to Hawaii ensure that the course plays like a true links, with the ability to hit a low ball vital to scoring success.
