Nelson & Haworth work in many countries around the world, often in difficult
working and climatic conditions to produce courses that are unique, beautiful and
enduringly playable. To
service our clients in the Asia Pacific region and in order to be closer to our important
projects in the region, Nelson & Haworth were the first golf course architects to set
up their design office in Asia. The Singapore office has been operating for over 10 years
and is now our international base of operations. This office has allowed us to visit our
projects in Asia more economically and regularly therefore obtaining a consistently better
result for our clients.
At Nelson & Haworth we pride
ourselves on producing high quality and realistic design drawings that enable our projects
to be built with a high degree of accuracy. We do however, understand that golf course
design is a "site" based design discipline and that subtle nuances of the site
that are picked up during the construction process should be incorporated into the design
where an improved result is possible. We therefore understand that we need to be flexible
and responsive to both site and client suggestions if we are to create consistently better
courses. |
